CollegeNET, Inc. of Portland, Oregon today announced the release of the latest version of its popular class and event
scheduling software, R25. Known in the higher education market for its comprehensive, feature-rich class and event
scheduling and management capabilities, R25 has been an industry standard since 1996, and has been licensed by
over 450 colleges and universities in the US and abroad.
The main goal of the release, according to Liz Bothwell, Associate VP of R25 product development and support, was to
"create a totally reliable and stable product for the long term, and thanks to our rigorous QA process, we've done just that."
The release includes new interfaces to several major student information systems, including Datatel Colleague, Oracle
Student System, and SCT Plus, as well as two generic interfaces designed to work with any student information system.
The addition of these interfaces makes CollegeNET -- which had previously released interfaces to SCT Banner and
PeopleSoft Student Administration System -- one of the few scheduling software vendors providing interfaces to all of
the major student information systems.
