announced they have signed a marketing agreement that will give Canadian schools a presence on the
CollegeNET.com Web site. It will also provide Canadian colleges and universities with access to leading
online school application technology developed by CollegeNET.
As part of the agreement, EDge will provide school profiles of Canadian colleges and universities to
CollegeNET. This will provide an opportunity for U.S. students to research their Canadian education
options. In addition to school profiles, EDge will create virtual campus e-Tours(TM) for both Canadian
and U.S. schools. These e-Tours(TM) contain pictures, text, music, student testimonials, video and 360
degree panoramas. Making them available on CollegeNET.com will allow hundreds of thousands of students to get
an up close and personal tour of a school in advance of an on-campus visit.
With over seven years experience, CollegeNET has developed one of the leading online application systems
in the U.S. This agreement makes it possible for EDge to offer Canadian schools access to the technology.
Students are using the Internet as the primary source for making decisions about their post-secondary
education, applying online is a natural extension of that process and makes it easier for both students
and educational institutions.
The technology allows a Canadian college or university to accept applications online from their own Web
site or from EDge's busy SchoolFinder.com or StudyinCanada.com Web sites. The applications will also be
available from the CollegeNET.com Web site, which is used by an average of over 200,000 unique visitors
a month.
