Following completion of its annual financial audit, CollegeNET, Inc. of Portland, Oregon reported today that it processed 777,741 web-based admissions applications on behalf of 536 higher ed institutional clients during calendar year 2003. CollegeNET works for institutional clients by serving web admissions forms for one or more schools within the institution--e.g. undergraduate, graduate, law. In 2003, CollegeNET hosted 1,505 web admissions application forms for 698 schools.

The company designs each application form in collaboration with the appropriate admissions office so that it fits with the look and feel of the admissions website. Although CollegeNET serves and processes each form and any corresponding electronic payments, students link to the application from the admissions website operated by the school.
