These tours are privately contracted by CollegeNET for our
conference attendees and their guests. Advance registration is required.
The FINAL day to register for all excursions is July 17, 2008.
No refunds or invoice recalls are possible for cancellations received after that date.

MT. ST. HELENS VOLCANO TOUR |
|
Learn about the "blast zone," mudflows, pyroclastic flows, biological regeneration and the largest avalanche
recorded by man. The immense effects from the eruption of Mount Saint Helens on the surrounding region must be seen
to be appreciated. Many incredible photo stops including the new Johnston Ridge Observatory.

PORTLAND DUCK LAND & WATER TOUR |
|
An informative tour through downtown Portland, seeing all of the most important sites, and then splashing
down into the Willamette -- all without leaving your seat! This "Intro-DUCK-tion to Portland" will give
you a comprehensive look at Portland combined with a leisurely tour in the Willamette (2 hrs).

COLUMBIA GORGE WINE TOUR |
|
Visit one of the newest American viticultural areas in our region. The Columbia River Gorge appellation
straddles the Columbia River 60 miles east of Portland and includes a growing number of quality wineries
with a wide range of varietal specialities. This tour begins with a 10:00 am pickup and comfortable
passenger van transportation into the Columbia River Gorge. As you make your way, you'll visit 3 to 4
wineries and be treated to a gourmet lunch. While getting to know your colleagues, you'll experience
some of the region's finest wines in the breathtaking setting of the historic Columbia River Gorge.

PORTLAND EPICUREAN EXCURSION (a culinary walking tour) |

Eat, drink, and laugh your way through the Pearl District —
A unique and delicious Walking Tour where you'll taste the foods, sip the drinks,
meet some artisans & vendors in their bakeries, teahouses, breweries, and shops -
while exploring the lively Pearl District.
Along the way, you'll achieve a diploma of culinary knowledge as you learn about local goods, sustainable practices,
and the truth behind organic products. Join us and taste the best of Oregon — wine, local produce, teas, mustards, jams
and jellies, beer, pizza, coffee, sorbettos and gelatos, fresh chocolate truffles, artisan breads and breakfast pastries,
and much more. We recommend that walkers don't eat before the tour!

NORTHERN OREGON COAST EXCURSION |

Journey along Oregon's breathtaking coastline stopping for viewing wildlife,
pristine beaches and rocky cliff headlands. Learn about natural, Native American and regional history.
Spend time beach combing or exploring shops and galleries. Time will be allowed for a leisurely lunch on your own.

| Please note: Excursions take place on Sunday, July 27
from approximately 7:00 am - 6:30 pm. If you arrive in Portland on or before Saturday, July 26th please
check in with the registration desk between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Saturday in order to pickup your excursion information.
If you are arriving late on Saturday and cannot drop by the registration desk on Sunday morning before your
excursion is scheduled to depart, please contact dallison@collegenet.com to receive your excursion information
by e-mail.
Refunds cannot be made for no-shows or to those who cancel after July 17, 2008. |
